How it works.

For the Traditional Tax Filer

You prefer in-person filing. Maybe you have questions and concerns that can only be answered by one of our financial consultants. We are open for walk-ins as well as by appointment. However, we cannot guarantee that the time slot will be available upon walk-in arrival, during the peak of tax season hours. Due to the previous pandemic health risks, masks will be required for every client that comes into our office, if you are sick. To help for a fast, accurate and smooth tax consultation and/or preparation, we highly recommend that you fill out as much tax information prior to your appointment/walk-in service so we can eliminate further delays.

Here’s a list of documents you need to help ensure you file taxes accurately. If filing with a paid preparer, check before your appointment if there are other documents you need to bring.

Virtual Drop-Off Method

Between work, family time, school, and whatever keeps you busy, it’s difficult to squeeze an in-person session into a 24-hour day. Upload your documents and fill out our Tax Preparation Virtual Client Intake Form and have your return finished within a week.

We will not be able to process your return without this form filled out or your tax documents uploaded.

Read and Sign the Engagement Contract.

This contract is required for every tax client at The Dynasty Financial Services. This engagement letter is designed to confirm the terms and conditions under which we will provide you with tax services. It also outlines the responsibilities for each of us in this process.

We created a Tax Preparation Checklist for you to make it easier to organize documents. We recommend that clients print it out and check off necessary documents.

We do need all original documents to be in your virtual drop-off packet.

Sign For & Pick Up Documents

Once your return is nearly complete, we will contact you and schedule a time for you to sign, pay and pick up your documents. You also have the option to virtually sign through our electronic signature portals. At that point, we will need your identification and social security card (for you, your spouse, and dependents-if you haven’t uploaded) in order to complete your return. Please note that no returns will be sent to the IRS without payment*.

For the Reserved Tax Filer

Methods: Home Pick-Up, Video Conference

This is a great alternative for individuals who are not located in Houston, TX. A popular option since the inception of the pandemic because it has all the perks of an office visit without leaving the comfort of your home. Even those that aren’t so good with technology have found it easier done than said.

Home Pick Up

Home Pick-Ups are only available during normal business hours. Please call us at (832)296-9432 or (713)393-7580 to see if you qualify so we can schedule a pick-up.

Fill out the Tax Preparation Virtual Client Intake Form & upload all your tax documents and sign the engagement contract.This contract is required for every tax client at The Dynasty Financial Services. This engagement letter is designed to confirm the terms and conditions under which we will provide you with tax services. It also outlines the responsibilities for each of us in this process. If you do not upload your tax documents in the portal prior to pick up, you may be asked to attach the copies with your pick up packet. Otherwise, we will scan them for you during our pickup.

Once your return is complete, we will contact you for results, payment(s), if any, and schedule a time for the drop off. We will only release the documents to the original taxpayer.

Please note that any return with a due balance will not be sent to the IRS until balance is paid.

All home pick-ups will be charged a $10+* surcharge fee in order to account for commute time and travel fees.
